Preventive care & prophylaxis
Regular check-ups, professional cleaning, and advice based on your personal risk profile.

What does this mean?
Preventive care combines regular check-ups with professional cleaning and advice for home care. We look not only at individual teeth, but also at gums, deposits, filling margins, brushing habits, and personal risk factors.
During professional cleaning, we remove hard and soft deposits from areas that toothbrushes and floss have difficulty reaching. The tooth surfaces are smoothed, fluoride is applied when appropriate, and we then discuss which aids make sense for your situation.
The right interval depends on your findings. If you have a higher risk of caries, implants, fixed restorations, or signs of gum inflammation, a shorter interval may be useful. If everything is stable, a longer interval may be enough. We do not make that recommendation as a blanket rule, but after examination and discussion.
